Quick Update

Im taking a cue from Anna Liza to blog about the homily by Deacon Ben today.

I was really struck by the quote from that book he read from. It said "The world needs lovers more than martyrs"

Why do we think we need to suffer to make our lives worthwhile? I think we should love as intensely as we can and the pain will be in our lives but our love will overpower it like me kicking some punk emo kid. It'll be no fun to watch love kick pain's ass.

But yea, we should be lovers not martyrs because while martyrs are faithful, Love is greater than faith and takes a certain amount of faith to execute anyways.
Be loving everyone, that way Christ's love reaches everyone before you die a martyr.
