"It's just a bend in the road, but this road always goes on"

So lots to report from this weekend......but its all kinda boring when being told, so I will just try to highlight stuff.

So my roommate makes fun of me constantly because now I'm more Filipino than she is. I went to PCN on saturday and understood every joke they told......sooo sad. But it was pretty cool. Waaaayy too long, but the dances were good, and the skit was freakin good. Ang and Toni are my heroes!! Props to all who did that.....goood stuff. After that we hit up The Hat, which is always good, but there were so many people it was even cooler. Someone else said so I will repeat it......YFC and LOG should hang more often. That was cool times. I had some crazy amount of chili cheese fries.....I'd never had it with pastrami tho and so Toni gave me some from her sandwich and it was heavenly......yea I might get that next time. Anyway that was cool
Then yesterday was the craziest day of my life I think.......woke up early to get some studying and other stuff done before mass, then Mel called me and asked me to help GP and Jay with the second shift of COR breakdown. So after mass I did that. But at mass one of the funniest things ever happened to me.....so Christine, one of the girls in the choir comes up to me before mass starts and gives me one of the buddy-buddy shoulder punches and says "Yea facebook!!". At first I was like, "oh you added me huh?". Then she asked me about the midterm.......that scared me cause I was thinking maybe I had forgotten about something. But then she said "yea econ 20c" and then it all dawned on me......she had confused me with another white guy....Mattman. I mean I know we are both sexy beasts, but you'd think people could tell us apart better than that. Naw what actually happened is Matt and I were in his facebook pic together, and I was in the middle, so thats why. Still that had me laughing pretty hard on sunday. Anyway, I did the COR thing wit geeps and jay and then afterwards headed over to VDC to be part of the YFC Recollection. That was really good.....lots of stuff was said that needed to be said. And lots of stuff was cleared up. One thing I wanted to make a public apology for is all the racist jokes I make......even the white ones. I didn't realize they hurt other people so much and Im pretty insensitive so I wanted to say sorry if I ever hurt you. But yea, that was tightness...Holy Spirit was working to help people see how they could better help out Core. Good stuff.
After that I went to Interfaith.....well I went home real quick cause I hadnt eaten anything since a donut at noon mass......then to Interfaith to finish my chili cheese fries from the Hat on saturday night. Then had a UCC meeting about the UCC rally and other bizness. That was good.....things are coming together on that rally. But then I went home got there around 9 and I had a midterm the next day(today)!!! Yea it sucked tryin to study for that. I was soooo tired I couldnt stay focused but I tried. Then I went to bed around 12 and wok up at 715, which sucked majorly. I got up and tried to study. couldnt, so I went to Interfaith. still had a hard time. finally went to mass and then class. and I gotta tell you guys something. That was one of the easiest midterms Ive ever taken in college!! I think God had my back on this or something.
So Im finally getting back to finishing this post (I started it at 4 hahaha) and I honestly am still having a good day. Just ate at Le Diplomate with my roommate and instead of soda, grabbed some Juice It Up!, and that was awesome. So since it took so long to get to, I figure I owe you guys some shoutouts, esp GP who was waiting for this during work. I'm only gonna shout out to people I talked to, or talked to me, cause that makes the list pretty short....

GP-sorry I didnt get it done in time for the end of your day. but now you have something to look forward tmr morning. I hope your away message isn't talkin about Ill Mitch, cause that guys hardcore. I wouldnt mess with the Russians like that. he even says "I keep a handi-wipe in my fanny pack"!!! thats craaazzzyy!!!

Donna-well I guess you will look more closely next time, won't you? unless of course you like it when people have to come pick you up when you don't need to be. Im just happy you IMed me, so that I was in on the story haha
Kirsss-You are quite the lazy one now arent you? yea but so am I.......after telling GP today that I wanted to take a nap, I said that I was too lazy to climb up onto my bed......that was lazy also.

Stephen-I know you don't read my blog bro, but Im writing you one anyway. You have some weird friends man.......why do they want to talk to a college guy? they arent even girls.......ummm yea find some new friends bro.......hahahaaa jk, have fun this year and good luck wit swimming.
Mattman-we are so confusable.......I dont know if that's a word, but it should be. We should wear name tags or something......wanna study econ 20c?
