So today was kinda crazy.......it started off fine. I had a normal boring Wednesday, well not all boring, I went to confession and then mass!! woot. then it got boring. I went to anthro where I sat appalled as the professor said if you failed the midterm you could still drop the class.......How could anyone have failed the midterm?? I mean maybe if you didnt attend one single class and thought it was the archaeology class instead of anthro, and read that whole book filling your head with archaeology knowledge and not anthropological knowledge, you would fail, but other than that I see no way to fail that test! Yea it was easy in case you were wondering. But then after that class I went to look at stuff on the sidewalk sale in front of the bookstore, they had nothing. Nothing for guys at least. Anyway chilled in the Booth with GP and David, and that was good boring times. GP don't ever shine that laser pointer in my eyes again, I swear I will kill you....KIILLLLL YOOOUUU!!! Anyway nothing productive happened there.
Around 5 I went to SPOP training to talk about Catholicism and the UCC. That was a pretty interesting experience. Lot's of good dialogue between different religions, but Catholics and Muslims were the only reps from Interfaith that showed up. Ahmed, the Muslim Student Union representative is an awesome guy and very articulate. He hit the nail on the head with many issues concerning us today and made great remarks about striving for peace and accord between Christian, Muslim, and Jewish nations. Things JP2 would have been proud of. Seriously a cool guy....he and I talked afterwards about getting Catholics and Muslims together to watch Kingdom of Heaven, the new crusade movie coming out on friday....Im down to, anyone else? Lemme know. Anyway that was cool.
After that ate dinner with Marites at Taco Bell, and saw Elinor who joined us, as well as her study buddy Gerard. Quite a cool fellow as well, said he knows Mangie, and hails from the 805. He was really cool....I guess it was just my lucky day to meet cool people. Ok brace yourselves cause the story of the hour takes place next.....
So Marites was takin me home from Taco Bell and we pull into the Dartmouth driveway. Now those of you who have pulled in there, you know that to the left is a row of parking spaces facing like a "wall" of lattice work covered in vines, and on the other side is a row of parking spaces facing that same wall. Now we pulled in and I noticed something was wrong but I couldn't quite place it until I noticed that......there was a car that crashed through the lattice wall and was ON TOP of a Honda Accord on the other side of the wall!!!!!!!! Yea I know, curazay!!! But yea the weirdest part is that the car on top had come from the side that is close to the building, so there was very little room to get up that kind of speed. Im still not sure how that happened. But I came back to the apt and told GP and some other peeps online.....and then GP, being bored and with nothing better to do, came over with Mel, Leo, and Jason and we just gaped as we tried to make sense of it all. Jason got some pics of it......he was being all paparazzi style, hiding behind us and trees and buildings and stuff....crazy. Anyway they stayed until all the excitement had calmed down and they peaced out. That is the end of this insanity.
So tomorrow is my second shift at the bookstore.....and I will be bored again so please come and visit me. Im not complaining about being bored because I knew I would be in this job, it's just that's the truth.....and I want some company. But yea Randell and Matt came by they said, but I wasn't working anymore......that's why I said my shift was from 1-3, not 3:30 guys......I do appreciate the effort immensly tho, thanks bros. It seems pretty laid back......well at least not stressful. And the other back desk people are nice......Loretta trained me in like 20 minutes and even wrote me a welcome note in the back desk journal....yea thats right, we have a journal. It's only cause there's no computer to use so we cant blog. But anyway Im rambling here. Hope you all come to visit me.....well not all of you cause then I might get in trouble, but just come if you can. Take it easy and Im giving you all tremendous amounts of eprops and shoutouts right now in my head.
