St Patrick's Day!!

So this is technically being written after the fact....oh wait, how could I write before the fact? anyway Happy St. Patrick's day to all of you.....mine was tiiiiight. It actually kinda started on Weds night with the YFC potluck...ok it didnt but I havent written about it yet...me, Katrina, Fama and Josh cooked fetucini alfredo. Well in all honesty, Fama didn't do anything really. Josh came 20 minutes after her and Katrina and he still did more than her. She spent the time looking through a party favors mag and oooooing and aaaahing over things she wanted in some themed party that she will never throw....oh sorry that was kinda negative, I meant to say that she sat very prettily at the counter and gave us some good advice about throwing a great party. After that we went to the potluck and that was cool cause there were so many good dishes there. We played some ball after that until we got kicked off the courts and then played ball in the dining room until about midnight. Goooood times.
This morning I didn't do anything until going to confession before mass and then mass. We had vietnamese sandwiches for the Thursday lunch, then I just hung out at interfaith like a bum with GP, Mel, and Brian until like 2:30. I got a sweet tat today that said "Irish" in old english style lettering on one arm, and "eire" the Irish word for Ireland, on the back of my right hand. I looked pretty gangsta thats all I can say...geeps has pics you'll see. Anyway, I went to do filming with Mattman, Toni and Mel(issa), then we got kicked out of Albertson's for filming, then the battery ran dead, and by then it was around 7 and we just decided to play some ball with the Madrona boys, who ended up being late as usual, which was good in this case cause I needed to go back to the apt and change, so we played around 8. Ball was relaxing and fun, but this is where my day took a turn for the worse....well not worse but I got kinda angry. The last game we played was with some local VDC kids, and I knew one of them Jimmy, from Weak Sauce fball(a cool guy), but the others I didnt know...anyway this one guy with a big fro plays pretty quick ball and he is doin alright, and then at the end of the game we made the game winning shot and GP hit his foot or something and yelled "ah!" but then said, "take it Toni!" and she made it.....this guy and another one thought he said "and one".....whatever.....so we took it out and this fool with the fro has been guarding Toni and she gets the ball again, and he knocks her over, and tries to steal the ball....from a girl!!! I swear I almost went over there and kicked his ass right then. I was fuming but all I could say was "calm down man!" They ended up winning, but the most bitter part of the night for me was that that guy got away with that.....ggrrrrr.
After that tho, I chilled with the guys at Taco Bell and then.....MARIO PARTY 6 at Madrona!!!!This was by far the funniest night of mario party cause we played some funny 1 on 3 games and the guys didnt beat me till after maybe 25 games of DOMINATING GAMEPLAY!
And as with everything involving me and Liwanag folk, this was a very racially charged bit of play....as can be expected, I was chosen to be the "1" in 1 on 3 precisely because I'm white. But it's all good, as long as it's all in the name of fun, which I know this is. I apologize for the boring blog entry, I guess my life is kind of exciting but I lack the mad writing skills of someone like GP to express them eloquently. I just spent 3 paragraphs spouting about what happened to me in the last 36 hours. Hopefully you have stopped reading by now so I can write things like "I was wondering why it's only one shirt and a pair of pants?" or "why do they call them buildings, when they're built already? why not call them 'builts'?" without sparking thoughts of "what the hell is he talking about?", or "Is he on something?". wow thats a lot of quotation marks and questions. This is becoming more and more "late night with no sleep" talk, so I better leave while I'm ahead...have a good friday and good luck to all of those with finals tomorrow!! Good morning everyone.
