Labor Away

Happy Labor Day to all. Hope yours starts out better than mine. The day after celebrating my first real sleep in several days, Im back to just 7 1/2 hours. Yesterday I crashed on Katrina's couch cause I had hung out over there and I didnt want to wake up my roommate's family who are sleepin in our living room. When I feel asleep around 1am, I was thinking that if I slept until 10 that would be great. Well I woke up at 930 and thought that was it, but I turned over and fell back asleep, then GP called me at 1045 askin me if I wanted to go to the Olive Garden, but I was still in the sleepin mood, so I passed (thanks for callin geeps) then fell asleep AGAIN! that is unheard of for me, I have a really hard time sleeping after being woken up, but yesterday I slept until 1130! It felt great. seriously. Like forreal.
Anyway, back to why my Labor day hasnt started well....it's because I woke up at 845 and I have no freakin clue why. Well it is bright in my room, but still.
Played some poker last night, that was fun. I broke even cause I got 2nd, a prize I disagreed with at the beginning, then realized "hey what if I get 2nd?" so yea I recanted and my off suit king-ten ended up takin the silver medal to Jason Deguzman's pocket queens. Well played Jay.
I mentioned how my roommate has family over this weekend, well she got back from England late August and had visited all over Europe, and when she got back she gave me a rosary she had bought for me from Vatican City! I was so surprised and stoked, cause I never get souvenirs, and shes not even Catholic, she just happened to see some Catholic friends buying them and she thoughtof me, thanks again Tricia!
I guess if you havent figured it out by now, I am blogging because Im effin bored right now, and Im sorry if my life isnt that interesting, but this is a way for me to pretend like things happened this weekend when they didnt really. Oh I just thought of something....Irvine has a dollar theatre and me, Jay, Mel and Joyce saw Crash on Saturday night. Man thats a great movie, I told them it might even be on what my friend Frank and I call "the short list", consisting of things close to perfect 10 status. Other movies on there right now are American History X (Yea I like racist movies), Swingers, Wedding Crashers, and yea I ran out for now. But the greatest thing about it was only payin 1.50!! I might be willing to wait for movies to come out there so I can see them for cheaper. Might I say, cause I have weak resolve.
I hear there might be some kind of BBQ today but I dunno where, when or whos throwing it. Yea talk about impromptu (spelling?).
